The chassis built up, the rear suspension will be further built up at a later date

The engine and exhaust built up. This includes the cam covers as well, which yeh I didn’t photograph.
The petrol engine sitting in the chassis at the moment, this is not glued in place at the moment as it goes in after the main interior tub.
The chassis test fitted into the shell.
I’m conscious that I haven’t had any updates in a few weeks, but trust me I’ve been very busy with the now Acura NSX. More to come of that soon.
So hope you like the wee sneak preview, and there’s more to come soon.

All the parts that make up the interior.
For the carpet, my plan was to flock the floor area. First off I painted the floor area in Humbrol Matt Black.
Then I sprinkled this over the painted area.
And the finished result.
The interior tub glued into the chassis.
The three main interior paints from Zero Paints that I used on the NSX.
After I had painted the seats with the Ferrari Rosso FX paint, I masked up the sides and centre area.
The side areas were painted Zero Black Leather, and the centre was painted Zero Black Texture.
I use this dress making ribbon for making seatbelts. This was a tip from the legend that is Mr Robert Riley.
And the finished article, only thing to add is the seatbelt buckles.
I then painted the lower sections in the red leather paint. I then masked these off.
Lastly I added the speaker decals from the Tamiya kit.
The seats and seatbelt buckle glued in place.
And joined to the interior tub.
That’s all for this part 1. Next part 2 of the interior build up.

Just got some new wheels for the NSX from USCP, these are their new wheels that have just been released. They are staggered 21” ADV.1 ADV7 MV2 CS wheels. They should look even better when painted and with the tyres mounted.
And everything all glued in place including the headlamp clear covers. These attached really easy as there is an additional lip for gluing this part in.
The Honda badge is part of the Hobby Design Real Metal Decal for the NSX.
The chrome metal insert also came up for some work. The chrome on this part wasn’t that nice so I sanded it down and covered it with some Bare Metal Foil Chrome.

Another product recommended to me by my friends Robert Riley and Ricardo Pedro. These Masterclub Resin bolts are superb and available in a number of sizes. For the under tray I used these 1mm Bolt Head with a Washer.
The shell is finished apart from fitting the main glass which I’ve painted but will leave off until the last minute, this is too minimise the risk of any damage to the glass.
And fitted to the chassis.
And all together, it’s almost complete now.
And fitted to the car with the brakes.
