I’ve had this kit for a while now, having been given it as a birthday present from my son. It looks a very well detailed kit, with the options to build it in either right hand or left hand drive.
I initially was going to paint it in a dark metallic silver, but after a previous post and other discussions, it’s now going to painted white, yep I did say it was the one colour that I didn’t want to paint it.
The kit will be built with the following upgrades and parts.
1. Hobby Design Photoetch and Resin Kit.
2. Studio27 Carbon Decal Kit (Don’t know how much or if I’ll use this kit)
3. Hobby Design Honda/Acura Real Metal Decals
4. Scale Motorsport Carbon Decals
5. Plamoz NSX Resin Wheels
Anyway that’s it for the moment, no doubt I’ll be adding and upgrading other parts as I get on with the build.

The excellent PE and Resin Set from Hobby Design. For almost all of my builds I’ll use such a set as they add so much more to a kit.
The replacement wheels from Plamoz, these wheels rank as some of the best resin wheels I’ve used.
Weird as even on the real car the spokes of the wheels go the same way. So on one side they will point forward and on the other side they will point backwards.
Another superb additio, these decals are so much better than the kit decals.
The Studio 27 Carbon Decal Set. I’m not sure I’ll use this, or use it as a template.
A lot of folk enquire about a decent scriber for body panel lines. I use this blue one (also the thinner black) from HM Hobbies. It’s a superb piece of kit.
Using a sharpie pen I highlight all mould lines and marks. There’s a lot of them.
I then sanded all the panels smooth, first with flat sanding sticks from Flory Models, then Tamiya Sanding Sponge 600 then 1000.

I then started to scribe all the panel lines, I go quite deep with these lines.
It doesn’t look much of a difference, but there is and it will show better when the cars painted.

The car sanded and scribed.
And the colour, yep after several suggestions and other discussions it’s being painted Honda NSX Casino Pearl White. To add just a bit more pearl, I gave the car a few coats of Clear Pearl Tinter. I robbed my paint kit for the Yamaha YZR M1.
And the car in its basecoat. It looks a lot lot better in real life. The only red on the car will be the red brake calipers and badges. I won’t be adding any other red to the outside as I don’t want it to be tacky.
All the parts that make up the basic engine. There are other parts, but these will be added later on in the build.
The completed main part of the chassis. Throughout the chassis I used various sizes of Masterclub resin bolts.
The sheets of PE bolts and nuts, these come in various sizes all of which can be obtained at
